Your personalised guide to restaurant and dish picks based on your diet

Why do we need another food app?

After a family trip to Europe, our founder Tam came home with a frustration many travellers share: finding a great meal took hours of scouring menus and navigating maps. While others enjoyed leisurely strolls through quaint squares, Tam’s family were stuck on their phones, searching for somewhere that could feed all of them.

I remember having to combine the vegan app, and an Italian coeliac app to find somewhere to eat. Usually we gave up and made do with what was easiest.

Plenty of excellent restaurants cater to diverse needs, but finding them can be tedious. Most restaurant apps focus on a single dietary restriction, and directories list categories without saying whether they can be combined. What should be a pleasure turns into a chore.

We created Eat Choice for people with multiple dietary requirements. You can build a personalised profile, combine your dietary needs with those of friends and family, and select as many restrictions as you need. We’ll guide you to dining options that suit your whole group, complete with menu details.

Say goodbye to piecing together meals from side dishes, or scrolling through menus trying to work out whether a gluten-free dish is suitable for coeliacs or whether a peanut-free option is also vegan. With Eat Choice, dining out becomes easier and more enjoyable.

What we believe in

We believe everyone deserves to feel welcome at the table. Eating together is essential to health and happiness.

We also believe a strong restaurant community is good for all of us, so we’re here to support restaurants. We don’t charge commissions or hold restaurants to onerous conditions. All we ask is that they keep their information up to date. We check in with every restaurant and support them to keep their dietary information accurate and current.

Sick of endless menu scrolling for limited dietary options?

So was I. After 33 years as a vegetarian and eating gluten free, I knew the drill: check the menu, check again, ask the staff, hope for the best. Eat Choice puts restaurant-listed dietary information in one place, so you can filter for allergies, intolerances, vegan, keto and more, and go straight to the dishes you can order.
