  • Our aim is to offer as many dietary restrictions and combinations as possible. We are always on the lookout for restaurants that get have inclusive menus so we can expand your choice. At the moment we have restaurants that offer Coeliac, gluten free, dairy free and low allergy foods, Vegan, Keto, and many others.

  • Some are! We offer restaurants the option to list their menu items as ‘No added’, ‘May Contain’ or ‘Allergen Minimised’.

    Please note, we rely on information provided by the restaurants and do not offer an auditing service. Please ensure you take your usual precautions before ordering.

    We recommend 48 hours notice to enable changes to menu items if required.

  • It's really simple. On your profile, select your restrictions. Choose your cuisine and let us do the rest. We'll present to you individual menu items so you can choose which restaurant suits you best. You can even add friends and family members with their own profile so the whole group is happy.

  • YES! You can choose as many restrictions as you like, though, please bear in mind, the more restrictions you select the fewer options there may be in a given town. If you are Gluten free, you can choose the level of preparation that suits you best.

  • Our system is live, so whenever a restaurant updates their menu it will change in the app. We require restaurants to update their menu as changes are made and to review frequently.

  • Eat Choice has a free ad-supported membership available, so you can always find somewhere to eat! If you would like to remove ads, have extra profiles or just want to support our mission, we offer a monthly subscription for $4.99.

  • Now! The app is available on Play Store and App Store.

  • We take food safety very seriously. If you believe your food was contaminated please email us at choice@eatchoice.nz with CONTAMINATED in the subject heading. Our investigation procedure is to pass your concerns on to the restaurant to and give them an opportunity to respond. Based on the outcome, we may require a restaurant undertakes independent training or could be removed from the service for a determined period. Cynical or repeated breaches may result in permanent bans from the service. Meal refunds are at the discretion of the restaurant at all times.

    Accusations designed to harass will result in a permanent ban.
