Complaints….
We all hate them, but they do happen! To support restaurants we don’t allow reviews on the site, we understand feedback is subjective and not always constructive. To allow diners to provide us with genuine concerns we have the following system in place.
Diners email choice@eatchoice.nz with the subject line CONTAMINATED so we are able to immediately action concers
We will request proof of booking and receipt from the diner, along with the dish eaten
We will request a full account from the guest as to the communication and problem with the meal, along with their reaction if they are happy to share.
We will ask the diner what resolution they are seeking.
If the diner is able to provide the above information we will pass it on to the restaurant using the email supplied to us in the Restaurant Portal
A response directly to the diner is recommended within 72 hours.
We will follow up with the diner to see if they are satisified with the outcome. If yes, the ticket will be closed.
If not, the ticket will remain open and we will engage with the restaurant to resolve the issue.
Restaurants may be required to remove certain labels from dishes if an issue cannot be resolved to the satisfaction of Eat Choice Ltd.
Further training may be required to reinstate labels depending on the issue.
Cynical or repeat issues may result in temporary or permanent removal from the site.
