When not enticing restaurants to offer more inclusive menu items, Tam can be found attempting all things creative. She has an embarrassing amount of sewing machines, cooking appliances and the odd musical instrument. She has been a vegetarian for over 30 years and was diagnosed with a wheat intolerance 10 years ago, a fact she tries to forget when eating out. Tam lives with Co Founder Steve and their two kids in Christchurch.
The other half of our founding team is Steve. Steve is not a vegetarian, but he is gluten and dairy free. This is usally not a problem at his favourite BBQ haunts, but like Tam, he likes to try new places as often as possible. Steve’s a keen gardner and cook, you can usually find him outside on the tools instead of the office, a side effect of growing up as a holiday park kid! Both he and Tam enjoy a cheeky GF beer from time to time.
