How to create your page on Eat Choice

Now that you are registered, it’s time to load your restaurant onto the portal. Once you click submit, we’ll review and approve your listing so it appears on the App. If we see any problems, we’ll get in touch and help you work through them.

Would you prefer that we handle your onboarding? Restaurant Association members receive a concierge set up from one of our team members. If you are not an RA member, we offer set-up for $50 per unique venue. (discounts apply for multiple sites of a venue)

To load your restaurant, follow the steps below. We have created a video showing the process from start to finish.

·         Click on the link in your email or go to https://portal.eatchoice.nz/login

·         Enter your username and password

·         Go to: Your restaurants and click on Add A Restaurant

·         Add the name of your restaurant

·         Add an image that you would like to display on the front page of your listing - this should be 1920 × 600 px. Please note the image will look too small for the box; it will appear normal within the app. PDF, PNG and JPEG images are suitable.

·         Select the cuisine that best suits your restaurant – if you do not see anything that works for you, email choice@eatchoice.nz and let us know, we will create a new category if necessary

·         Choose ALL of the dining options that apply to your business. Food trucks, you can select Food Truck here.

·         If prompted, select the user creating the listing

·         Upload a PDF copy of your menu - this is optional.

·         Choose your City

·         Add your address.

·         Add in google map co ordinates

·         List your website and phone number

·         Add in your preferred booking URL

·         Select your hours of operation

·         If you are certified as a Dining Out Program, select that option; otherwise, leave blank. You can add here if you accept Restaurant Association cards and/or vouchers, welcome dogs or have a separate gluten-free fryer.

Submit for approval

Click create restaurant

Once we have approved your restaurant, you will be able to upload your dishes. We are currently building an API to connect with POS systems. If you are interested in being a test restaurant for this, please let us know.
